It cannot be switched off
The cover encloses the rocker switches as well as the sockets. Nobody can flick a point off in passing, deliberately or by leaning on it. Cords feed out through two narrow slots, so the appliance runs exactly as before.
For business
Some things must stay switched on.
It only takes one person flicking a switch on their way past. Micky Ha Ha covers the whole outlet — the switch as well as the socket, the plug and the cord — so equipment cannot be turned off or unplugged. Fitted in minutes, over the power points you already have, without an electrician.
Fits standard single & double outlets
No rewiring, no electrician
Why it works on a commercial site
The switch is the easy one to forget
Most outlet covers block empty sockets. They do nothing about the appliance already plugged in, and nothing at all about the switch sitting right beside it, which is the one that gets knocked off in passing.
Staff can see it is still on
The cover is clear throughout, and the red dot on a switch is visible through it. Anyone can confirm a point is still on from across the room without opening anything or touching anything.
Turning it off is a decision
Both catches have to be held down at once to get the cover off before anyone can reach the switch or the plug. It takes two adult hands and intent, so it never happens by accident or in passing.
Childcare & early learning
A room full of curious hands
Every outlet in a childcare room is at crawling height, and the children are the whole reason you are watching it.
- Covers the rocker switches as well as the sockets, so a point cannot be flicked on or off
- Stops plugs being pulled out and cords being tugged from the floor
- Clear, so staff can check a point is off without touching anything
- Two catches that need both adult hands, so it is not opened in passing
- The base can stay on permanently and the cover clipped on only during session hours
Retail & hospitality
It is not the power point that costs you
A fridge switched off on a Friday night is a Monday morning stock write-off. Nobody unplugged anything. Someone knocked the switch.
- Keeps fridges, freezers and display cabinets switched on as well as plugged in
- Stops a switch being knocked off by a trolley, a broom or someone leaning on it
- Stops the public reaching outlets behind counters, in aisles and near displays
- Cleaners cannot unplug a fridge to run a vacuum and forget to plug it back in
- Keeps dust and spills off outlets in kitchens, back of house and storerooms
Aged care, disability & medical
Equipment that has to stay on
Where a resident may switch something off without meaning to, and where equipment going quiet matters more than it would anywhere else.
- The switch is covered, so a point cannot be turned off from a chair or a bed
- Plugs and cords are enclosed, so nothing can be pulled out
- Deliberate two-handed release, not something done absent-mindedly
- Clear cover means staff can confirm a point is still on at a glance
- The base stays put; covers can be moved between rooms as needs change
Offices, schools & trades
The switch nobody should touch
Comms cupboards, server racks, AV in classrooms, and workshop benches where dust and sparks are the problem.
- Stops racks, AV and network gear being switched off or unplugged by mistake
- Useful wherever a cleaner, a contractor or a student can reach the outlet
- Keeps dust, dirt and sparks out of outlets in workshops and trade areas
- Rotate it so cords exit from the top for high or awkward outlets
- No rewiring and no electrician: it fits over the outlet you already have
